Obstacles faced along the way and how we overcame them

Having to start at short notice after the Christmas break as clients had a window of opportunity to stay in alternative accommodation: We acted quickly to respond to the needs of our client. Meeting with them over the Christmas break to assess the job thoroughly, turned around pricing quickly and compiled a comprehensive programme that outlined all key dates for works so our clients could have an accurate gauge on how ling the project and the types of work going on in any given day.

Having to work around other parts of the house that were recently renovated including designer kitchen, polished floors and entrance stairs etc: We worked with this by treated these areas with care and respect; laying out floor protection to all access routes to construction areas, moved aside fragile import items to keep safe from damage, lay drop sheets over countertops and tables etc. This helped our clients feel at ease seeing their home treated with care and respect like it was our own from the first day the project begun.

Both clients being very busy specialist doctors: We recognised the need and importance of our clients who were very busy in their given professions to take on the stress of running the entire project from start to finish managing all trades and suppliers.  We also accommodated their busy schedule by being flexible with catch up meetings often making them very early in the morning or late in the evening. Building trust with our clients they appreciated being able to focus solely on their work during the day knowing their home and project was in safe hands.

Replacing/repairing deleted line of cladding: Working closely with our suppliers to identify the species of timber and arranging samples for a custom run of weather board to match in seamlessly with the rest of the house in a timely manner to keep within the timelines outlined in the initial schedule.
